Print more bands/stickers to scan those rather than the patients' bands (to expedite the process). No other department has 24-hr coverage…"
"Why is the process set up so that admission arm bands can only be done in the ED? Why can't this be changed? Have you had that discussion internally?"

From what I can tell – the problem is specific to patients who are direct admits (not seen in the ED) to the facility after hours or a replacement arm band is needed resulting in the RN having to call ED reg for the arm band."
